I named my first child after him, a testament to the depth of his influence in my life. I had hoped he would stand beside me at my child’s graduation as a lawyer, and at my own induction and consecration as a bishop. Though he is not here in body, I know his spirit and prayers remain with me, and his legacy continues to shape my path.
